Coming soon — texts are not live yet. Our text-messaging program has not launched. The phone field and the SMS opt-in box on our entry form are visible but disabled, and we are not collecting phone numbers or sending any texts at this time. These terms are published in advance so you can read them before the program starts. For now, we notify winners by email.
These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the text-messaging program operated by The Kilo Drop (“we,” “us,” “our”). By adding your mobile number and checking the consent box on our entry form, you agree to these terms.
Program description
When you add your mobile number, we text you about the giveaway: a confirmation once your entry is in, an alert if you win so you can claim your kilo, and the occasional heads-up when a new drop is coming up. Message frequency varies.
How to opt in
Text enrollment is optional and separate from email. On the giveaway entry form at thekilodrop.com you add your mobile number and tick the SMS opt-in box. That box is currently disabled while the program is pending; when it launches, it will read:
Providing your number and consenting to texts is not a condition of entering the giveaway or of any purchase.
Message frequency & cost
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan. We are not responsible for charges from your wireless provider.
Opt out — reply STOP
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you receive our messages. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and then stop sending texts. You may also email [email protected] to be removed.

Carriers & delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside our control. Supported carriers include major U.S. carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others); carrier support may change without notice.
Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
The SMS program is available to individuals 21 and older in U.S. states where kratom is legal.

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
